When arriving at Te Kahu, you are greeted with the spectacular coastal vista! In the distance, you can see the Poor Knight Islands floating on the horizon and the Tutukaka headland vying for attention to the North………..the blue South Pacific, a sparkling jewel.
Te Kahu is centrally located on a very spectacular part of the Northland coastline. With Whangarei Heads to the South and the coastal hamlet of Pataua to the north. There are endless beaches, hikes and walks to explore. A nature lovers paradise, with New Zealand’s warmest waters and extended summer.
Te Kahu lends itself perfectly as a retreat for 2 or a place to enjoy with friends and family. There are large areas of both indoor and outdoor dining. A large Chefs kitchen at the heart of the west wing. It is the perfect house for a group of friends enjoying time away.
The three-bedroom home is open plan with contemporary design and furnishings. Three different deck areas, as well as BBQ, offers a great setting for creating some great memories. The large chefs’ kitchen makes for great entertaining if you are a group of friends staying. The accommodation part of the house is in the east wing while the kitchen, living and dining areas are in the western end.
Whangarei Heads feature jagged exotic peaks, covered in a lush subtropical forest. Furthermore, deserted white sand beaches stretching into the distance. Clear clean waters of the Pacific are all hallmarks of the area.
