The area has a long history of gold mining and many claims in the area are still being worked. Walking and mountain bike tracks are located up the valley and also down in the sounds. Glow worms are found around the streams and cliffs at night. Large shared kitchen and recreation room is available. Hot spring feed showers too! BBQ, fire pits and pets make this a unique experience. Children’s playground with swings and a climbing fort is centrally located. Gold pans available for hire.
