Since the start of the year, the Auckland region has received significantly less rainfall than normal, resulting in a large impact on our water supply. To help preserve what is left in our dams, we are committed to educating our staff and guests on the importance of saving water. We have installed a 4 minute shower timer in all our guest bathrooms at President Hotel, as a reminder to guests to be mindful of the current water shortages in Auckland and to use water wisely.
If everyone in Auckland cut their showers from 8 minutes to 4 minutes, the region would reduce its water use by 80 million litres a day. Together we can make a difference!
