Our 10 totally refurbished self contained motel offers a home away from home. All motel rooms are on ground level so are easily accessible, with fully equipped kitchens, separate bathrooms, flat screen televisions and a guest's laundry facilities.
We have a playground for children situated well away from the road and there is room to run around and kick a ball. There are sheep to feed at certain times of the year.
Our complex is within easy walking distance of Restaurants and Bars, Waitaki Boys’ High School, St. Kevin’s College, Rugby, Netball and Hockey Sports Grounds and Iona Rest Home.
It is approximately a 5 minute drive to the town centre and the Victorian Precinct where one can appreciate the architecture and carving of the Oamaru Stone buildings and the wonderful food of the restaurants and cafe's
While you are visiting Oamaru try to allow time to visit the endangered Blue Penguins and the beautiful rare Yellow Eyed Penguins. Take a break with a tasting at the Whitestone Cheese Factory, have a look at the Steam Punk Museum and the Limestone Quarry where the famous Oamaru Stone comes from and for the fishermen you can experience your dream by catching a Wild Waitaki Salmon or a Rainbow or Brown Trout on the Waitaki River.
