Taylor Pass Hut is just 15 minutes from Blenheim, on a property called 'Jentree', in a valley called Taylor Pass. Taylor Pass is one of the last valleys of traditional rugged farming country in Marlborough.
The hut is the perfect romantic couples retreat, set along an avenue of pretty trees, on the banks of the Taylor River.
A stunning example of small space glamping done well, everything in the hut fits neatly into a cosy, functional and beautifully styled space. Each window perfectly frames a view of the surrounding countryside. A door in the main living area leads to a separate bathroom, complete with hot shower and toilet.
Positioned to take in the setting sun at the end of the valley, the outlook is beautiful. Just below, water gently trickles across a rocky river bed. An abundance of fantails will keep you company during the day, with the occasional Tui and Bellbird popping in to visit too. Clear skies, make for unbelievable star-gazing - perfect for outdoor bathing at night.
